Stage right: Jan Emil Christiansen (41 years old, married, dad, jet-setter, citizen of the justified and ancient Kingdom of Denmark) has been on the fore-front of Urban Exploration photography for about 10 years. During a series of searches for original photo shoot locations in work for various modelling agencies, Christiansen became fascinated and inspired by the atmosphere of the abandoned and forbidden places in the urban and inner city landscapes. In the very midst of a promising career as international fashion photographer, Christiansen tired of models, make-up artists, crews and the goddam asshats who run fashion agencies, and began nurturing his addiction to rooftops, cellars and crypts, overgrown, derelict buildings, the secret worlds of the subterranean catacombs that lie hidden beneath many of Europe’s modern cities, the forsaken, and the inaccessible. Jan Emil gets his jollies by going where few men have gone before, and certainly NO photographers. It’s a free country, so why the fuck not?!!?

Stage left: Jon Anton Anderson (alias Jah Bozo, 58 years old, married, dad, jet-setter, ex-Australian, and denizen of the Kingdom of Denmark) has been a professional musician and a bit of a dick for all of his working life. He has worked as electronic music and video producer, song-writer, band member, and cleaner in some of Australia’s most illustrious educational institutions and the scandalously shit-besmerched lavatories appended thereto. He currently enjoys a position as “Pianist-to-the-Stars” at the Royal Danish Ballet in Copenhagen. During a vain and futile search for relevance, Anderson joined friend and fellow bon-voyeunt, Morten “Umpff” Langkilde in the upstanding fellowship known and loved across the world as Mabel The Label. He would like to think that there is a meaning to life but is consistently thwarted by the facts. With the release of A Pripyat Summer, Anderson hopes to cement his reputation internationally as a shameless prevaricator, and a right bastard.
